DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS
The Above and Beyond Organization depends on many generous contributions of time, money, food, school supplies, gardening materials, vehicles, electronics, maintenance tools, building materials, clothing and furnishings from our able bodied communities to support our life saving and community rebuilding programs. With our strong network of volunteers and partner organizations we will always be there in the times of need. We aspire to turn our compassion into action so that all the people who are in need of change in their lives will no longer be afflicted with homelessness, unemployment, discrimination, hunger, poverty, incarceration, discrimination, lack of education, mis - education, civil injustice, mental and physical abuse or violent deaths.
We also have fundraisers and operate businesses to obtain funds to carry out our mission. The monies that we collect internally and from donations and contributions are used to supply communities with rent free housing and rent free businesses which in turn would allow a community to become self- sufficient and gain economical structure. This will help strengthen and rebuild the communities by re introducing family owned and operated businesses occupied by members of that community. This will open up a wave of entrepreneurial and employment opportunities. We feel that by using these methods we will create financial stability in communities which will strategically lower the crime rate and eradicate the need for government subsidies which will in turn boost the whole economy. For those who do not have the mental or physical ability to own, manage or work at a business, our organization will continue to meet there daily needs.
